Troll keeps our garden healthy

This garden troll, carved by my sister in law's partner, is a good example of the unique style that he has developed.

We visited UBC Farm market last Saturday morning and picked up a bunch of mizuna and some garlic for planting.


Mizuna is added to nabe, today's dinner.

Our angel trumpet is about to bloom for the second time this summer. We counted about 30 new blooms coming.

Second batch of raspberries are now ready for eating. They will be producing plenty until October and my husband usually looks forward to eating the last one around the beginning of December!
