Berry colander with wooden pestle

I got this classic berry strainer, made in Canada, at our local bargain store for $4.00. It is brand new and it is being used for the first time in its life. Here, I am straining strawberries, with the wooden pestle,to be added to my chiffon cake.

Freshly picked raspberries will make some nice jam.

Strawberry chiffon cake but where are the strawberries? Tastes like strawberries.
