| On March 12, a massive earthquake struck Japan and created devastating tsunamis. I believe the Japanese people can manage this catastrophe and remain strong and united. I am a proud Japanese and I am proud of Japan. I believe they can make it. My nephew, living in Chiba prefecture, was ok after the initial quake and we hope he is still fine with enough food and shelter. One of our members is visiting her grandchildren in Kanagawa and we hope she is safe. I also am concerned for the well being of all my friends in the Tokyo and Tohoku areas. My thoughts are with them. |
