Olympic Torch Relay in Front of Our House

One day before the Opening Ceremonies, the Olympic Torch is being handed off to the next runner. This is in front of our house.

No problem lighting the torch in a light rain shower. Hundreds are looking on.

Off goes the owner of Lululemon for a 300 meter jog to Kerrisdale Elementary.

Everywhere is the maple leaf and lots of red and banners. A very proud day for Canadians.

My husband brought out his old jumping skis and tied the Canadian and Norwegian flags to it. View of our front gate.
