Marie Theresa Chandelier hangs in the dining room

One week after aquiring this gorgeous looking 1940's Marie Theresa Italian crystal chandelier, we were still trying to get all the light bulbs to work. We drove all the way to Burnaby, thinking that it required special narrow based bulbs. We were quickly educated that it probably did not require such specialized bulbs. We next went to Home Depot to pick up a continuity tester and some light bulbs. After testing all sockets, my husband spent the next hour fixing all the fixtures . The chandelier now hangs in all its glory but we need to find a new dimmer switch which suddenly stopped working.

New curtains separate kitchen from our hallway.

Today, I delivered this Christmas treat to my friends in East Vancouver.
The coating is chocolate holly leaves and almonds.
