My last quilt class of 2009 has just ended. We had a small sushi party after class and I gave out my gifts and received this lovely wagon filled with pointsettia and other plants. Thank you very much!

I made some sushi for my husband's co-workers.

We changed the light in the kitchen cubby. This aluminum lampshade used to be in the cubby but we recycled a part of the lampshade to provide more light in the kitchen.

In the cubby we added the stained glass lampshade that was previously over our dining table. It is a much better match for our stained glass window panes.

This Italian chandelier was purchased today from one of our favourite antique stores. It had previously been hanging in a stately Shaughnessey mansion along with three other similar ones. The owner decided to sell them and we were lucky to get one that was in perfect shape. The electrician is coming on Monday to hang it up and do the electrical work. I can show you next week how it looks.
