Thanks to my friends in North Vancouver, I got some kabocha about one month ago. I let it ripen and, this past weekend, I made a caramel kabocha pudding. I added whipping cream topping and it was our dessert at today's dinner. The taste is similar to a sweet potato but still kabocha taste. We are looking forward to a repeat sometime because it was delicious!
This past weekend, while out shopping, we spotted this unique rocking chair with a foot stool. It operates on a spring system and has been remade with new cushion covers. It is a perfect size for me and will become my tv couch. It was only $50. My husband just reapplied some glue and fixed one of the legs on the foot stool and now it is in fine shape for years to come.
