We are preparing to host our first show. It will be at our local community center on Aug 29th 11am-4pm. We will select our spring and summer quilts to be displayed. Admission is free. We have a few challenges to overcome such as how to hang the quilts without using pins on the walls. One of our neighbours donated some bamboo poles that we are going to use along with some chairs from the center. Hopefully it will all work out.
The room is fairly large with lots of windows that need to be shaded a bit. We will have 8 tables and 30 chairs to utilize.
