This past Sunday we visited our friends in North Vancouver for a BBQ and their 25th Wedding Anniversary! This is a view of their backyard with Japanese style garden.
Japanese Maple and nice greenery makes for tranquil surroundings.
This fluffy guest was waiting for its parents to bring some food. It is a Blue Jay and appears to be quite content sitting on the planter. It is unable to fly but can wander quite fast.
This water spout and pond is popular with the birds. Lots of cosy spots to contemplate life.
These cherries from an overhanging tree are a good source of food for the baby blue jay and we can enjoy as well.
