This past Monday, I got some Fuki, also known as bog rhubarb, from one of my patchwork member. For the first time, I also made tsukudani, which are the leaves of the Fuki plant and amani which are the stalk of the plant. Fuki can be grown in the gardens of Vancouver and we hope for success later this summer when the roots that I planted just yesterday will mature. At the top, we garnished onigiri with fuki

The next day, I made Fuki spaghetti Japanese style. Oishi yo!
