New things

This is guri and gura castella which comes from a Japanese infant book story. The outer crust contains a soft spongy interior which is slightly heavier than traditional castella but has a lghter taste.

I learned another way to make spaghetti without boiling it. Dried pasta is placed in the pan with other ingredients and sauce, then heated up for 15 minutes with the top closed. The result is a more tasty spaghetti with the sauce and ingedients penetrating the spaghetti. We enjoyed cabbage carbonara as well.

I put a new table cloth our quilt class' working table, cherry blossoms.
