Valentine's Week

New recipe for a chocolate cake and sable cookies. This chocolate is very light and spongy since I cut out butter , sugar and chocolate. I used cocoa, instant coffee and milk. The boys made quick work of the cake before dinner. That is how they rate the cakes.

These cookies are very similar to traditional sable taste as experienced back in Japan with Hatoya cookies, a famous sable cookie company in Kamakura.




Strawberry bavaroise with cream cut down, added yogurt and gelatin. This has made the taste much lighter.
Chocolate caramels for Valentine's Day.
