New Year's tapestry quilt is finished!

The fabric is silk Japanese kimono material that is very soft. The motif is typical Japanese flower patterns. I started this project in September and the colour coordination was a challenge.

Thanks to the kind donation of material from two members of my quilting circle I was able to create this piece.
