These are a type of acrylic dishwashing sponges that we have been using for two years. We no longer buy kitchen sponges but use these for a variety of cleaning tasks. They work very well are easy to care for and keep clean. Easy drying as well. The yarn was purchased from a local recycling shop for 75 cents a bundle.
